Born in Las Vegas and raised in Texas, Mark G. Walker spent decades as a businessman before a DNA discovery at sixty-five connected him to his Townsend ancestors — and changed the course of his life.
What began as personal curiosity became years of archival research: military rolls, land grants, court records, census data, and correspondence spanning two centuries. Walker brings that research — and a personal stake — to every page of The Townsend Chronicles.
He lives in Texas and is currently at work on Book II of the series.
